A meeting of two master players. Adel Salameh is regarded as the world's unofficial ambassador of the 'oud - the Arabian Lute. Renowned for his deft and rhythmic improvisations, Adel Salameh has performed to great acclaim at numerous WOMAD festivals. Krishnamurti Sridhar is a virtuoso sarod player and a rare master of India's two musical traditions, the Carnatic and Hindustani. K Sridhar began learning the sarod at the age of 5 and at 14 he was the youngest member of Ravi Shankar's orchestral group. His career has since been one of international acclaim. Together, Adel Salameh and Krishnamurti Sridhar create musical moments of rare genius, intensity and spellbinding effect.
