Fronted by Jackie Joyce, a Scot of Ghanian descent who describes herself as an "authentic exotic", their work shows Gaelic influences but draws on the sounds of boabab pods, the djembe, tama drums and monkish intonations. Mouth Music offers slices of many worlds to reflect the one world.
